On the Analytic Hierarchy Process Structure in Group Decision-Making Using Incomplete Fuzzy Information with Applications

چکیده

The multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem has a solution whose quality can be affected by the experts’ inclinations. Under essential conditions, fuzzy MCDM method provide more acceptable and efficient outcomes to select best alternatives. This work consists of consensus-based technique for selecting evaluating suppliers in an incomplete preference relations (IFPRs) environment utilizing TL-transitivity (Lukasiewicz transitivity). suggested is developed based on criteria Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Fframework, decision matrix construtced using consistent (FPRs). We use symmetrical decisional approach. A variety numerical explanations analysis quantitative results illustrate methodology’s logic effectiveness.

Decision making with the analytic hierarchy process

Decisions involve many intangibles that need to be traded off. To do that, they have to be measured along side tangibles whose measurements must also be evaluated as to, how well, they serve the objectives of the decision maker. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a theory of measurement through pairwise comparisons and relies on the judgements of experts to derive priority scales. It is th...

Fuzzy multi-criteria decision making method based on fuzzy structured element with incomplete weight information

The fuzzy structured element (FSE) theory is a very useful toolfor dealing with fuzzy multi-criteria decision making (MCDM)problems by transforming the criterion value vectors of eachalternative into the corresponding criterion function vectors. Inthis paper, some concepts related to function vectors are firstdefined, such as the inner product of two function vectors, thecosine of the included ...

Group decision makers making process - an analytic hierarchy approach

The paper deals with a step-wise analytic hierarchy process (AHP) applied by a group of decision makers wherein nobody has a dominant position and it is unlikely to come to terms with respect to either the weights of different objectives or expected utilities of different alternatives. One of the AHP outcomes, that is the consistency index is computed for each decision maker, for all other deci...

Group Decision Making in Higher Education Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate how the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) can be applied to those situations in higher education where a group must evaluate a large number of alternatives. The suggested approach is illustrated using a case study that considers the evaluation of academic research papers at Villanova University. Following the discussion of this successful case study, a ...

Group Decision Making With Incomplete Information

In Group Decision Making problems experts have to provide their preferences about some alternatives to solve a particular problem. Fuzzy Preference Relations are a very widely preference representation format that experts can use to express their opinions about the alternatives. But due to their own personal background and abilities experts are not often capable of provide complete and consiste...
